Improvements to scheduling

We are always looking for ways to improve your experience. In this release, we made some improvements that are related to the scheduling of content.

Historic start date and start time of an article

We added a new section to the Scheduling tab in Schedule that will show you the original start date and start time of that article! Great new feature to check back and see when a piece of content started playing on your Digital Signage Systems.

Date formatting now follows your browser language

A rather small update, but a very convenient one! We checked all places where dates are visible and made sure they are now displayed in the correct format of your browser language.

Media Library Update

It is now possible to add items from your Library to the active slot with just a single click. All articles now have a new button in the left-top corner. You can click on the button to add the article directly to the active slot. See the example below on how this works!

In-App Communication: Part 2

As promised in our previous release notes, we have added some new features. We removed the original [?] button where it linked to an Engage+ User Guide and Feedback form. We replaced this with the items below.

Release of our official Help Center

We are happy to announce the release of our official Engage+ Help Center. On this new portal, we will publish these release notes and it will function as a Knowledge Base, including a Getting Started Guide and FAQ section.

You can find the Help Center at https://helpcenter.zetadisplay.com or via the new (?) button in the bottom-right corner.

In-App useful links

In the new in-app help menu - we link directly to our new Knowledge Base, latest release notes and knowledge base articles that might be of interest to you.

General improvements and fixes

As in all releases we did some general improvements and fixes. Not all of them are worth mentioning but we did the following:

  • We fixed an issue where it was not possible to Publish when you cleared the end date of an article that previously had an end date set
  • We fixed an issue in Snapshot where the content view was limited to the height of all the slots combined
  • Fixed a caching issue for players that are running Liveqube, our music service
  • We removed the number for includes/excludes on the distribution tab in schedule
