While checking the numbers, you might ask yourself "What happened with v2.16.0?". Good question! We actually released v2.16.0 on the 25th of May, but the release didn't have any noticeable impact for you, our users. But now we have some new additions to our CMS that we're happy to share with you in these release notes of v2.17.0.

New notifications area

We added a new notifications area (top-right) where we will share announcements or messages with you like these release notes.

Targeted players in distribution tab in Schedule

It is now possible to see how many and which players you are targeting with the selected distribution in the Schedule. You can see this new feature while you have an article open in the Schedule. Click on the Distribution tab and you can see how many players you are targeting with your current selection. You can hover on the number to see the list of players.

Improvements

• Changed our database access technology from Entity Framework 6 to Entity Framework Core
• Increased the cache limit for live feeds

Fixes

• Fixed an issue where added files to the media library were counted as 2 changes instead of 1 change
• Fixed an issue where using Single-Sign-On caused a login-loop
• Fixed an issue where the "Add file to library" button was visible in the library when there was no media import support on the slot
